The acceptance of an article depends on the truth of the content, the degree of originality, clarity of description, and conformity with the objective of the journal.The decision of the Editorial Board of the entry articles is acceptable without revision, received with minor revisions, received by major revision, or rejected. Focus and Scope JPEKA: Jurnal Pendidikan Ekonomi, Manajemen dan Keuangan focuses on economics especially in economics education to improve the quality of education and innovative learning to improve the learning activities in economic education.   The scope of the discussion covers the study of research in economic education: Original theoretical and empirical studies dealing with the analysis and evaluation of teaching methods, learning attitudes, and interests, materials, or processes: Substantive issues, new ideas, and research findings in economics may influence or can be used in the teaching of economics. Development and innovations in pedagogy, media, materials, and methods for teaching economics. Issues involving the way economics is taught are emphasized. Findings material in business that may influence or can be used to teaching business and entrepreneurship. Substantive issues, technology, and findings that may influence or can be used in teaching administration education. Innovations, issues, materials, and findings that may influence or can be used to teaching finance education Manuscripts typically will be evaluated by two or more reviewers. Pertinent comments will be brought to the author's attention, but manuscripts will not be returned. Submissions should be clear and concise. Authors should keep in mind that our readers are economists and educators with diverse preparation in economics, statistics, and educational theory. Upon acceptance of a manuscript, authors will receive instructions about submitting a disk. Following the publication of articles in the journal, and as a condition of that publication, authors will be expected to make their data available to those who request it from them.   Peer Review Policy: Papers published in this journal have undergone editor review and peer review. Peer Review Process The submitted manuscript will be selected by the editorial board; Manuscripts that meet the standard of proofreading will be forwarded to the reviewer whereas the manuscript that does not meet the standard writing criteria will be returned to the author without a review from the reviewer; The reviewed manuscript will be returned to the author if required. The review team came from the environment of Universitas Negeri Surabaya and the review team proposed by APPKHI and did not close the possibility of reviewers from universities throughout Indonesia in accordance with the competence and needs of the editor. The article to be reviewed is an article that is considered worthy of review by the editor team. Science Learning in Everyday Life : consisting of analytical, interpretative, or philosophical papers regarding learning science outside of the formal classroom. Papers should investigate experiences in settings such as community, home, the Internet, after school settings, museums, and other opportunities that develop science interest, knowledge or practices across the life span. Attention to issues and factors relating to equity in science learning are especially encouraged.. Science Teacher Education : consisting of original empirical and/or theoretical research that examines the preparation of teachers, the work of teachers, or how teachers' work is influenced by a broader context. "Teacher education" refers to development throughout the continuum of ones teaching career, from pre-service, through induction, into advanced professional stages of teaching. Science Education Policy : including reports about the goals and/or underlying principles of policies adopted by government, interest groups, school districts, etc., and their effect on science teaching and learning. Additionally, research on science education policy relates to a critical examination of how theory, research, and practice of science education are influenced by policy decisions. Science Studies and Science Education : provides a forum for interdisciplinary investigations into science and science education. It informs and derives perspectives from history, philosophy, anthropology, and sociology of science as well as cognitive psychology and artificial intelligence to contribute to the theory, methodology, policy, and practice of science education. Comments and Criticism : provides a forum for the expression of differing viewpoints and the correction of misunderstanding regarding topics in published papers. Readers of the journal are earnestly invited to contribute their ideas to this forum. Contributions for the Comments and Criticism section should be relatively brief, normally two to four manuscript pages, and will be published as rapidly as possible. Philosophy, Theory, and Current Research of Nature Sciences : provide latest theories and research results in the field of physics, biology, biophysics, chemistry, and earth sciences In addition, the journal regularly carries a Comments and Criticism section which provides a forum for the expression of differing view points and commentary and clarification of topics in published papers. The Journal Editorial Board invites any manuscript addressing a relevant science education topic that employs an established and recognized scholarly approach and also impacts or is generalizable to national and international populations. Quantitative research reports that employ sophisticated research designs (e.g. MANOVAs linear modeling) and qualitative research reports that rigorously follow naturalistic research methods are preferred. One or two variable tests employing simple inferential statistics (e.g. ANOVA or ANCOVA) and poorly described and argued qualitative research are discouraged. All manuscripts must provide a thorough review of the literature that establishes the research problem or the issue at hand as well as a thorough conclusion that addresses the implications and limitations of the research or argument.
